Ambulnz delivers more care

Ambulnz by DocGo is on a mission to improve everything about healthcare for our patients, customers, employees, and the planet.

Driven by innovation

Ambulnz looks at the world through a lens of innovation, and is constantly pioneering ways to create additional value for our partners and elevate the level of patient healthcare.

This way of thinking has led us to leverage our advanced technology and the clinical expertise of our 3,500 field-based paramedics and EMTs to offer a full suite of Mobile Health home medical services to patients, and even build the first ever Hoverlance - a concept vehicle that establishes a bold vision for the future of emergency services (yes, it’s real, but the FAA has not cleared it for flight just yet).

Who knows what we’ll think of next?

We’ve got you covered

Since our 2016 launch in Southern California, we’ve provided services in over 26 US States and across the United Kingdom. And we’re licensed to operate in 37 States, with plans to continue expanding our coverage in the coming months.

Better by design

Ambulnz by DocGo set out to improve everything about patient care.

We started by building an entirely new, eco-friendly fleet from the ground up, and outfitted them with speed regulators and bi-directional cameras to ensure they’re monitored 24x7. Then, we put all of our EMTs and Paramedics through EVOC Driving and CVO Safety training to ensure they’re at the top of their game. The result? The best safety record, most fuel efficient vehicles, and lowest insurance premiums in the industry. Instead of bright red vehicles and EMTs dressed in paramilitary uniforms, we designed a fleet of visually-soothing light blue vehicles that embody our commitment to caring, and help reassure patients they’re in good hands in their time of need.

Responding to COVID-19

Ambulnz by DocGo is proud to have played a key role in the nation’s response to the COVID pandemic.  We redeployed 80 EMTs and Paramedics and 36 of our vehicles to New York, New Jersey, and additional hard-hit markets.
We were the largest private ambulance company responding to COVID in New York. The work we did to help “flatten the curve” during the initial surge earned us a special EMS Week citation from the Governor of New York State.

Inspiring Performance

Changes to the healthcare system and an aging population mean EMTs are more critical to medical care than ever, yet EMTs and paramedics remain the lowest paid professionals in the chain of care. Most companies in our industry just pay an hourly wage and offer no benefits, resulting in low employee morale, high turnover, and a worker shortage.

The Ambulnz by DocGo model is changing that, with a revolutionary pay package that empowers EMTs and Paramedics to earn significantly above the national average & chart a path to financial freedom. We offer:

  • Base hourly wage

  • Per-trip performance bonus payments

  • Medical insurance

  • Paid time off

  • An industry first Equity Incentive Plan that provides an ownership stake in Ambulnz
